Comverse IPTV solution launched: enables live TV, video on demand

Comverse, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, today announced the expansion of the Comverse Converged Communication portfolio with a launch of Comverse IPTV, a comprehensive solution to provide TV viewers with a broad selection of broadcast and unicast (subscriber-selected) content.

The solution includes live TV, video on demand, digital rights management and middleware.
