Concilium Technologies, a value-added solution provider, has introduced three test instruments from Agilent Technologies to the South African market.

According to the company, the new solutions comprise the Agilent U3606A, Agilent U3401A and U3402A for signal testing in IT equipment.

The Agilent U3606A, Concilium notes, is a next-generation hybrid that combines a 5 1/2 -digit digital multimeter (DMM) and a 30W dual-range power supply in one unit. The company says the DMM and power supply can operate simultaneously and independently, providing efficient, affordable testing and saving space on the bench or in a rack.

Concilium MD Steve Alves says the Agilent U3606 includes four-wire milliohm measurements and eight math functions and the power supply adds overvoltage and overcurrent in addition to output capabilities such as auto scan and ramp, and a square-wave generator.

The Agilent U3401A and U3402A, designed for educational, electronics and communications applications, notes Alves, provide 4 1/2 - and 5 1/2 -digit resolution respectively as well as up to six built-in math functions and a lock slot for physical .
