EnterpriseWorx hosted its first Conductor4SQL and SQL Server 2016 workshop on 18 July 2017 at the Microsoft Technology Centre, in Johannesburg.
"There are many challenges for organisations trying to maximise their investment in their data," said Sean Longhurst, Chief Technology Officer, EnterpriseWorx. "This workshop highlights how SQL Server 2016 and Conductor4SQL can help an organisation reach this goal. Attendees learned how to get a tangible return on their investment in SQL Server and learned about Conductor4SQL, an essential tool for those interested in getting the most out of their MS SQL landscape."
The focus of the workshop was to introduce participants to the brand new features that have been made available with the release of SQL Server 2016, as well as the features previously only available with SQL Server Enterprise Edition. These features have been made available in Standard Edition from SQL Server 2016 SP1 and up.

EnterpriseWorx's Senior Conductor4SQL Consultant, Heinrich Smit, also demonstrated how these features can further be utilised and incorporated using Conductor4SQL. The demonstrated features included Query Store, Partitioning, Compression and Change Data Capture (CDC). The workshop included live examples on how to implement these features, kept simple to encourage attendees to actively engage and understand the value it can add to their business operations.
"Conductor4SQL is the one tool that can do everything," was merely one of the responses from the attendees.
EnterpriseWorx will be hosting a Webinar on 3 August 2017 at 1pm. To register for the workshop, kindly visit www.getmore.conductor4sql.com or schedule an appointment at www.conductor4sql.com for a live demonstration.
