Content Circles with Alfresco

Content Circles, a provider of content management (CM) solutions, has signed a partnership deal with Alfresco Software, to market a new CM and collaboration solution, reports EmailWire.

The new solution will integrate Alfresco Enterprise CM system and Content Circles's software-as-a-service to securely share, collaborate, track and manage content within and across companies, working online or offline.

John Powell, CEO of Alfresco Software, says: “Governance, retention and will be key themes for content management in 2009. With this solution Content Circles offers a secure Alfresco bridge to provide organisations with inter-repository auditability and compliance in a peer-to-peer environment.”

Content management gets social

Last week's annual Gilbane San Francisco conference brought together the industry's largest collection of experts to share experiences, practices, and research, and to debate the future of content technologies, states Business Wire.

This year's San Francisco theme was 'Where content management meets social media'.

The Gilbane Boston Conference is set to take place from 1 to 3 December and will focus on these mission-critical content technologies that many organisations are grappling with and trying to understand how they will support operational efficiencies.

Sitecore unveils solution

Web content management company Sitecore has introduced a product aimed at helping marketers track and understand online visitors, says B2B Online.

The Sitecore Online Marketing Suite enables content editors to profile content, establishing relevancy for segmentation analysis and delivery.

The software automatically develops profiles of site visitors based on browsing behaviour, geographical IP identification and collected through forms and survey submissions to deliver targeted, action-orientated content and offers.
