Convergence 2008 opens its doors

Microsoft Dynamics has announced that registration for Convergence 2008 Copenhagen is now open, reports Microsoft.

Convergence is the premier Microsoft Dynamics event, bringing customers, partners, team members and industry experts together to discuss solutions, address business needs and establish a business community.

In 2008, Convergence will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 19 and 20 November and will feature a variety of speakers, product demonstrations, learning sessions and the opportunity to interact with industry leaders.

The networking equipment landscape is full of innovative product development that is seeing a technology revolution take place across both the consumer and business markets, a new IDC report has found, reports Computerworld.

The report: Australian Networking Equipment 2008-2012 Forecast and Analysis: Convergence, Consolidation, Centralisation, and Consumerisation, found this revolution is driven by the emergence of newer and smarter technologies, greater network capacities, and refreshed network architectures.

IDC's research also showed that the Australian networking equipment market saw a healthy growth of 19% in 2007.
