Cornastone, the black-owned and managed enterprise solutions integration company, has invested in technology integration and IT services company eMSol`s intellectual property and core business principles to bolster Cornastone`s footprint in the local HP OpenView solution space.
According to Cornastone chairman, Lufuno Nevhutalu, the deal with eMSol makes Cornastone the largest HP OpenView partner in South Africa.
"As a result of the partnership, Cornastone is evolving to become a one-stop shop for HP solutions, with the best technical skills in the country to support high-end HP OpenView service management roll-outs," he says.
HP OpenView applications allow your organisation to increase the performance of your infrastructure, anticipate and correct problems before they become critical, and automate and manage change in real-time. Following the principles of simplification, standardisation and modularity, HP OpenView applications offer companies a unique vision and proven results that directly impact the bottom line. HP OpenView applications enable the Adaptive Enterprise.
eMSol has become a subsidiary of Cornastone, called Cornastone Enterprise Management Solutions. The division is headed by Dion Williams, previously eMSol CEO.
eMSol, which won the HP Software Partner of the Year award in 2003, has implemented HP OpenView projects since 2002 and is the leader in the field of network, systems, application and IT service management.
By relocating to Cornastone`s office in Rivonia, eMSol will not only be truly black empowered, but its employees now have access to Cornastone`s extensive IT and support infrastructure, as well as its back-office systems and customer-facing expertise. eMSol`s customers will also have access to a wider range of skills and technical expertise.
"The combination of our technical expertise and Cornastone`s business acumen means that Cornastone Enterprise Management Solutions is able to offer a wider range of solutions to the market in addition to supporting a larger customer base," says Williams.
"We focus our skills on key areas, underpinned by our ability to supply and support the required technology that best helps customers achieve their objectives. We recognised the value in Cornastone`s capability, market presence, culture and assertive approach to business.
"By teaming up with Cornastone, we are able to make it easier for customers to achieve their business goals by providing them with a one-stop service that reduces the risks of deploying and managing complex applications and systems," he concludes.
