A growing number of training centres, including Old Mutual Business School, Esselen Park (Transnet), Absa and Nedbank, are boosting operational efficiencies since installing software solutions from NFS Technology Group, the international provider of software solutions for the hospitality, leisure and corporate markets.
Esselen Park and Absa are making use of both the Rendezvous and roomMaster 2000 software from NFS, while Nedbank is using roomMaster, and Old Mutual Business School installed Rendezvous.
Rendezvous is a user-friendly convention centre management software system that can be implemented and supported cost-effectively, pointed out Sunil Menon, managing director of NFS Technology Group - formerly known as NFS Hospitality.
"A growing number of training institutions are using our range of software to enhance their business experiences," Menon added.
"Our software is powerful and scalable enough to suite small training centres, as well as larger corporate clients, such as Nedbank and Absa."
Another user of NFS software is the Edcon Retail Academy - owned and run by the listed retailer, the Edcon Group. Edcon uses the roomMaster 2000 and venueMaster software solutions.
Nicolette Kruger, software implementer at NFS, said: "We are seeing growing success with our roomMaster 2000 - which is often used in tandem with venueMaster, a solution designed for managing the training and meeting venues within training institutions."
Commenting further, Kruger said Rendezvous is designed for conference centres and unique venues, with the scheduling software able to control all aspects of a meeting or event - including reserving space and resources, requesting deposits and managing payments, assigning and overseeing tasks, tracking booking charges, and ensuring the proper delivery of catering and AV equipment.
