Crystal Decisions, an information infrastructure company, has announced the availability of Crystal Enterprise, its next-generation enterprise reporting and analysis system.
Crystal Enterprise is a Web-based infrastructure that helps companies improve decision-making by organising, categorising and delivering reports, analytics and strategic business information into any Web or enterprise application.
"Crystal Enterprise provides a globally scalable and reliable infrastructure to securely deliver information to hundreds of thousands of users," says Inthiaz Cassimjee, country manager at Crystal Decisions SA.
Built around a sixth-generation multi-tier architecture, it enables server clustering and load balancing for proven fault tolerance and redundancy to ensure maximum uptime. Crystal Enterprise was engineered from the ground up for flexibility and customisation. It integrates into existing enterprise, Internet or corporate portal applications and can deliver on-demand to wireless Web devices.
Crystal Enterprise includes Crystal Reports Professional and Crystal Analysis Professional, a new product for flexible analytic reporting from OLAP data stores. "Since nearly all enterprise applications are fuelled by data, organisations can greatly benefit by consolidating their reporting, analysis and information delivery requirements with a powerful information infrastructure standard," says Cassimjee.
