To cope with the increasing numbers of Cape-based corporations applying for IT training courses for their staff, CS Holdings has opened a new systems training centre in Cape Town, as part of their Education Solutions Division. Madelise Grobler, MD of the Education Solutions Division, says the company`s clients dictated the need for a dedicated Cape Town office. "A similar situation occurred in Pietersburg as well, were the sheer number of clients in that area demanded that we open a training centre closer to their work environments, with a programme directed at the students` abilities."
CS Holding`s 80% pass rate (as opposed to the industry average of 16%), has ensured the company has a loyal following in both the government and business markets.
"We achieve these results by first ensuring prospective students have the correct aptitude and by insisting that our students first qualify for the internationally recognised A+ certificate," says Grobler. "We have found that this grounding places students in a substantially better situation when confronting the technicalities and hands-on requirements of more advanced courses. Putting the right people on the right course, and not merely providing a course for money is another secret to our excellent pass rate.
"Our international Sylvan Prometric certification is also a feather in our cap, providing students with a qualification that is recognised worldwide."
