Siltek Distribution Dynamics (SDD), a company in the Siltek technology supply chain group and SA`s largest broad-based distributor of information technology, has selected CS IT Solutions, a division of JSE-listed CS Holdings, as a strategic partner to provide carry-in and on-site support on all Toshiba notebook products on a national basis. This partnership is worth an estimated R1.2 million per annum.
SDD holds the exclusive distribution rights for the Toshiba notebook brand in Southern Africa and uses its widespread network of channel partners to this effect.
Under the auspices of the new partnership agreement between the parties, CS IT Solutions will own the rights to provide warranty support for all Toshiba notebook products in Southern Africa, both on-site and on a carry-in basis.
SDD believes its customers will not only benefit greatly from the first-rate, world-class service standards offered by IT Solutions but will also have the opportunity to extend their warranties and have their systems upgraded by certified CS IT Solution technicians with compatible parts on-site.
Customers will also benefit from the experienced, dedicated management and technical staff, the well-established service infrastructure and the focused customer relationship management methodology utilised.
CS IT Solutions will, in effect, be the one-stop shop for all Toshiba service requirements in Southern Africa and will ensure that both customers and suppliers derive maximum benefit from this agreement.
