CSMG, Z-IT and Hephaistion will merge into one company as per 1 August 2003. The new name for the merged entities will be Affirmative Technology Services (Pty) Ltd, abbreviated as ATS.
ATS will deliver the combined services of CSMG, Z-IT and Hephaistion. These will be:
Consulting:
* Business management
* Service management
* Systems management
* Operations management
* Business continuity planning (BCP)
Training:
* IT service management; ITIL Foundation & ITIL Manager (EXIN accredited)
In-house
* IT service management; ITIL Foundation & ITIL Manager (EXIN accredited)
Open registration via CBM training
* Making Progress (Process "action learning" training)
Products:
* Performance & Capacity tool
* Facility Management tool
* Service Management tool
The new directors will be:
* Isaac Zowa, Managing Director (previously Managing Director of Z-IT)
* Jan van Ommen, Executive Director (previously Managing Director of Hephaistion)
* Jurgen Muller, Executive Director (previously Managing Director of CSMG)
There will be no impact as the business of CSMG, Z-IT and Hephaistion will be operationally absorbed into ATS and the transformation will be the same for our customers.
The major shareholder is complying with the BEE criteria and therefore ATS is categorised as "black-owned".
However, the interaction with our customers and delivery of the ATS services/products to our customers will be based on merit and extensive experience as previously provided by CSMG, Z-IT and Hephaistion independently.
This positions ATS as a good partner for all who have to deliver value and in some cases have to comply with BEE rulings.
