Data storage and recovery specialist, Computer Storage Services Africa (CSSI Africa) has announced it is to accelerate its drive of the CipherWave range of network attached storage (NAS) devices into the South African market through a distribution agreement with Comztek.
According to CSSI Africa`s managing director James Grcic, although the company has experienced early success with the CipherNAS product range, he anticipates a surge in sales through the partnership with quality distributor, Comztek .
"There is a definite need for easily deployed storage solutions for businesses from the SME-level right through to the corporate market, particularly with the introduction of more stringent data storage regulations," he says.
CipherWave`s CipherNAS devices address this need with a simple-to-install solution that adds up to 4 terabytes to a company network in just 15 minutes.
With Comztek`s extensive base of resellers across South Africa, CSSI Africa will be able to effectively address market needs for easily deployable storage solutions, says Grcic, "This means we will be in a position to target a much broader market."
Grcic believes Comztek`s endorsement of the CipherWave product range is testimony to its quality and suitability for local markets.
"With the imminent opening of our new facility in Midrand, where local sub-assembly will take place, we will be in a position to supply the CipherNAS product range at a considerably better price point than any competitive offering. With the backing of Comztek, we anticipate growing market share significantly," Grcic concludes.
