Toshiba has renewed its distribution agreement with Computer Storage Services, (CSSI), South Africa's prominent data storage distributor and specialist recovery firm, for its range of storage device and hard drive products lines.
According to Samantha Marais, business manager at Toshiba Computer Systems Africa, with the ever-increasing demand for faster, smaller, and higher performance hard drives, widening the availability of Toshiba's hard drives in South Africa gives consumers and business customers a wider variety of top-quality and competitively-priced devices.
"Toshiba is known for its innovation and ability to deliver top quality products,” she says. “Our qualification process has proven this and with the competitive offering, we expect to take a sizable chunk of the South African market share in the next 12 months."
CSSI has been distributing the Toshiba storage and hard drives lines for the past 18 months and with the re-appointment will be committed to enhancing the service and distribution offering and capitalising on its growth of market share.
The portfolio also includes the new launch of the revision 4 2.5-inch USB 2.0 mobile external hard drives that sport a stylish, sleek design that look great on any desk. The external drives are USB-powered, compatible with both Windows and Mac platforms and feature patented free-fall Sensor technology to protect your drive when dropped.
Computer Storage Services have been able to attract a growing market share in South Africa over the past 18 months and their expertise and knowledge of the storage market and industry will bode well for an exciting venture and services-orientated offering to all our customers bases, which will be driven with the focus on customer experiences,” she concludes.
