D-Link, designer, developer and manufacturer of connectivity and network solutions, launches its D-Link Certified Engineer (DCE) training course countrywide tomorrow.
The two-day course covers a series of modules, including wireless, broadband, routers and TCP/IP, says Karien Wood, marketing manager for D-Link Africa.
D-Link created the course for D-Link partners and resellers who are new to D-Link networking products, those who need to understand the basics of network technology, administrators who are responsible for implementing and managing small to large business networks, and support staff who will act as network device installers and first-line support.
Although it is not a formal partner programme, certified candidates would receive preference when D-Link passed on leads, says Wood.
"The implementation of the DCE certification is a direct result of the numerous requests and enquiries received from the channel," says Wood. "Ultimately DCE will empower our partners and resellers to build networks for their clients and provide professional support."
Dates and venues as well as registration details are available on the D-Link Web site.
