D2, NewStep
D2 Technologies, a provider of embedded software platforms that power IP communications, has partnered with NewStep Networks, a provider of communications convergence technology for a joint solution that includes Google Android-based mobile terminals, says TMCnet.
This solution will run on D2's mCUE embedded mobile unified communications software interoperating with NewStep's patented converged services node (CSN) for FMC/UC infrastructure.
Both the companies have successfully tested D2's mCUE embedded software with NewStep's VCC-compliant CSN.

Connexion uses MyCall
Connexion Technologies has launched Comverse's MyCall Converged Communications to help telecommunications companies serve residential customers with IP-based voice services over Connexion's Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks, says OpenPR.
Connexion wanted to ensure that its Fiber to the Home customers have access to digital voice services to complement other fibre broadband services such as high-speed Internet, television and home security monitoring.
Connexion made the investment in the MyCall system for service providers to offer voice services to Connexion's fibre to home residential, business and hospitality customers.
