Data Junction announces IBM support

Johannesburg, 10 Jun 2002

Data Junction Corporation, developer of the world's most widely deployed data integration solutions, today announced its extended support of IBM e-business products. Data Junction users now have access to WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Commerce version 5.4, substantiating an already powerful enterprise application integration (EAI) solution that natively supports IBM's DB2 Universal Database.

Data Junction supports IBM's WebSphere MQ via the MQI Native Interface. This major enhancement extends Data Junction's capacity for e-business integration by providing connectivity to the industry's dominant message-oriented middleware (MOM).

Support for WebSphere MQ empowers users with broader functionality for integrating internal applications and also delivers the flexibility to exchange data between disparate systems over the Internet.

Data Junction also supports WebSphere Commerce via native connectivity to WebSphere Commerce's XML dialect. Data Junction and IBM users are able to rapidly integrate their production data systems using XML with almost any other data format or application.

Data Junction provides the most Adaptors for native connectivity of any integration company in the market. Data Junction's e-business integration solutions include content management, order notification management and Web data harvesting.

CommerceQuest South Africa represents both Data Junction and IBM WebSphere locally.
