Dave Reddy, former Veritas SA country manager, has been appointed sales director at Dell South Africa.
Reddy left Veritas at the end of December, saying at the time he was leaving for "personal reasons".
He was appointed MD of Veritas Software`s sub-Saharan region at the end of 2002. Reddy came to Veritas by way of Compaq, having moved on at the time of the Compaq/HP merger.
Reddy has been appointed with immediate effect and Dell says his responsibilities will include "enhancing Dell South Africa`s direct relationship with its largest and most important customers".
