DDI awaits risk management patent
compliance and risk management solutions provider, Digital Defence (DDI), has a patent pending for its next-generation vulnerability scanning technology, reports Benzinga.
The patent applies to DDI's proprietary scanning engine as well as to the software-as-a-service Frontline Solutions platform, which delivers automated security solutions.
DDI claims its solution addresses the increasing security threats organisations encounter on a daily basis, without the burden of premise-based applications.
The DDI Frontline Solution platform aims to enable businesses to protect key information assets quickly and easily, while freeing up internal IT staff to focus on core business needs.
San Antonia Business Journal states DDI president and CEO Larry Hurtado, says: “Enhancing our cloud-based vulnerability management solution with a more powerful scanner, greatly increases the operational efficiency of client remediation programmes by not only scanning enterprise networks faster, but also with greater accuracy.”
The firm did not detail information about the patent, nor did it provide information about the exact status of its patent application, says Texas Tech Pulse.
