Dell South Africa today announced that it would be cutting its enterprise product prices, including those of its PowerEdge server and PowerVault storage range, by between 13% and 29%.

Dell currently enjoys just over 20% market share in SA and we believe that we can emulate the US, where Dell is the top Intel server manufacturer. "Over the past year, Dell has continued to `deliver best` in class server products and with the new seventh generation PowerEdge product, Dell offers substantial performance and feature advantages at lower price points than most in the IT industry."
