Dell has launched a new, wireless-ready notebook, the Latitude C810 sporting Intel`s new Mobile Pentium III 1.13GHz-M processor.
"When you add this to a 15-inch display and multiple optical drives, the Latitude C810 notebook becomes a desktop replacement. It delivers the mobility and flexibility of a high-performance system that can be used anywhere, anytime," says Leigh Hancock, product-marketing manager at Dell SA.
The new notebook features the nVidia GeForce2Go chipset, which offers a maximum 32MB of graphic card memory, rivalling yesteryear`s desktop graphic acceleration performance.
It also includes Twinview technology, which allows customers to use dual monitors on the same notebook system. The Latitude C810 includes in its standard features list: 128MB SDRAM, 15-inch UXGA display, 16MB nVidia GeForce2Go graphics chipset, 10GB hard disk drive, integrated 56k v.90 modem, Dell`s DualPoint technology, fixed 24X maximum CD-ROM drive, floppy diskette drive, Microsoft Windows 2000, and three-year next-business-day on-site service.
Dell designs its Latitude notebook product line for customers who value a low total cost of ownership (TCO), a consistent and reliable product, managed technology transitions and optimum performance in a connected environment.
