Dell today announced that it has signed a three-year, non-exclusive contract with BBC Technology to deliver Dell desktops and notebooks for more than 25 000 users across the BBC.
The agreement will see Dell provide OptiPlex* GX260 desktops, Latitude* C640 and C400 notebooks and Dell Precision* 650 workstations. The technology will be supplied through Dell`s well-known `build to order` model.

"Our direct model gives our customers maximum cost savings through building to order, while allowing us to understand in-depth their immediate and long-term business challenges and goals."
