Corporate and executive clients can now enjoy a comprehensive range of tax and financial planning solutions from Deloitte & Touche`s new Global Employee and Individual Solutions Department (GEIS), a merging of two previous separate divisions: Internal Assignment Services (IAS) and Executive Financial Services (EFS).
"In creating one department to deal with all aspects of employee and individual tax," explained John Stanley Partner GEIS, "we are leveraging the synergies of the two groups, eliminating duplication and offering our clients significantly enhanced services."
With increased attention focussed on corporate governance issues, tax compliance and acceptable tax solutions have assumed a new importance. "Corporates and indeed, individual executives cannot afford to make mistakes," said Jean Cooper, GEIS partner. "Our expertise and comprehensive tax and planning solutions ensure that they don`t."
All aspects of employee tax, requirements relating to inbound and outbound expatriates, individual tax services, exchange control, global earnings, capital gains, tax planning, PAYE reviews, estate planning and retirement planning will now be available to corporate and executive clients at one source. "Clients who were previously serviced by IAS can now also benefit from additional and relevant services formerly provided by EFS and vice versa," continued Stanley.
The new consolidated department will add significant value to existing corporate clients, improving the overall service in terms of cost-efficiency and professionalism.
