Dicoll Interactive, IER sign strategic partnership

Locally-owned company Dicoll Interactive and IER have entered into a strategic partnership for the supply and implementation of self-service solutions to government and corporations in South Africa.

IER, a French company, is a world leading designer and manufacturer of ticketing printers, self-service kiosks, boarding control solutions and access control equipment for the major transportation networks, and is also a major player for producing automated interactive transaction kiosks and self-service terminals for local governmental agencies and large accounts.

Dicoll Interactive, a six-year-old established BEE business offers touch screen-based self-service to the corporate, retail, telco and ticketing markets. The company has five major divisions, namely, strategic consulting, sales, infrastructure support services, product design and systems management.

The company`s customer base currently includes Vodacom, Incredible Connection, Computicket, and the Department of Environmental affairs, among others.

Veronica Munwana, New business development director at Dicoll, is excited by the IER solutions that are well positioned to the South African governmental departments. "IER has large deployments worldwide in governmental organisations. We intend to repeat the success in South Africa by addresses all the vertical self-service markets in which we will jointly create opportunities."
