This is the latest high-level handheld and mobile phone combination manufactured and supplied for international distribution by Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
As a personal digital accessory the Fujitsu Siemens Computers Pocket LOOX T830 incorporates a number of features that add value to the mobile professional.
These features include a GSM/UMTS mobile phone, optional navigation software and maps and integrated SIRF star III GPS module for use as a complete navigation system. This is complemented with several connectivity options, including WLAN and Bluetooth.
The device comes with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition that offers a range of standard Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel Mobile.
It also houses Fujitsu Siemens Computers Pocket LOOX Software Suite and Fujitsu Siemens Computers ConnectMobility - E2C, to facilitate connectivity to the network.
"This solution can truly be described as an 'all-in-one' mobile device. Its function as a cellphone is positioned alongside its use as a comprehensive navigation system, handheld PC with full connectivity, providing an e-mail push service and access to the latest Office applications. It also features a built-in two megapixel camera, and a VGA camera for VOIP telephony," comments Adelle Willemse, Fujitsu Siemens Computers product manager at Annex Distribution.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers, in association with Annex Distribution, has positioned the device as a versatile, user-friendly mobile product.
"Users will not have a problem navigating or accessing features on this product. It offers the advantage of Microsoft e-mail push solution and a full qwerty keyboard with ergonomic key pads and intelligent software," adds Willemse.
