Dimension Data has entered a joint venture partnership with Toyota subsidiary Delphys and NTT-ME Corporation to deliver e-business consulting and integration services to Toyota`s businesses in Japan and the Asia Pacific market.
The joint venture, Proxicom-Delphys, began working on 1 April, with operations in Tokyo, Japan, where it is to provide consulting and services for e-business and technology integration for Toyota and other companies in Japan and Asia.
Proxicom-Delphys has named Dimension Data`s Asian subsidiary, Datacraft Asia, as a preferred alliance partner.
Datacraft Asia will assist with customers throughout the region.
The principal partner in the Proxicom-Delhys initiative is Dimension Data`s North American operation, whose CEO, Raul Fernandez, says the company is bringing into the partnership a strong heritage of e-business development in the automotive industry.
He says the company has worked for several years with Toyota Motor Sales of North America.
Delphys, a subsidiary of the Toyota Motor Corporation, is a full-service advertising agency, while NTT-ME is a wholly owned system integrator subsidiary of NTT.
NTT-ME is a core multimedia company of the NTT Group offering IP network service, IT professional consulting, solution proposals, solution development, maintenance and pervasive support services.
