Raritan Computer Inc. - a leading provider of solutions for managing IT infrastructure equipment and the mission-critical applications and services that run on it - has received two highly prized Editor`s Choice awards from two of the most influential IT publications in China`s burgeoning IT marketplace. In year-end product evaluations, both China Information World (CIW) and Smart Partner (SP) magazines singled out the Dominion KX, Raritan`s digital KVM-over-IP switch, as winner in its assigned categories.
China Information World chose Dominion KX as Editor`s Choice in its Security Management category. Raritan was alone among KVM vendors in receiving this award from CIW, an eight-year-old publication with recognized authority in such IT categories as LAN infrastructure, security management and telecom. According to the magazines editors, Dominion KX won for the high performance of its digital encryption.
Smart Partner, China`s top-tier magazine aimed at IT distributors and channel partners, also chose Dominion KX as its only KVM solution, awarding it its "Best Benefit for 2004" designation in the publication`s Networking category. In this award, SP recommended the digital KVM solution to its channel readership based on the Dominion KX`s profitability, the Raritan brand`s perceived value in the marketplace, as well as Raritan`s channel policy, service, technology and innovation.
