A new range of consumer-focused APC mobile power products, now available through the WestconGroup Southern Africa retail channel, will ensure your devices never run out of juice when the lights go off.

The APC Mobile Power Packs are the perfect power companion while you are on the go, or while you are sustaining a bout of load shedding in the office or at home. Whether you are touring the streets of Cape Town and need power to ensure your maps can get you home, or if you simply want to listen to music while out in the bush, these nifty devices are the perfect companions for you.

With their lightweight and compact design, the APC Mobile Power Packs charge all USB devices - from your camera to your tablet, MP3 player and even your smartphone - ensuring you remain fully powered while away from home or the office.

Available in an M5 and M10 device, the products' features include two USB charging ports, one 2.4A charging port ideal for tablets and a 1A charging port ideal for smartphones. The M5 has a 5 000mAh battery that provides up to two full charges for a smartphone and half a charge for a tablet. The M10 has a 10 000mAh battery that provides up to four full charges for a smartphone and a full charge for a tablet.

Power packs come with a two-year warranty and LED battery indicator, offer automatic shutdown when devices are fully charged and prevent battery damage by powering off when the temperature is above a safe operating range.
