DTS boosts LG phone audio quality
The massively anticipated smartphone, which first made its debut in the Korean market, is likely to be sold in more than 60 countries later this year and next.
According to E Gear, Brian Towne, executive VP and chief operating officer at DTS says the consumer now demands that superior audio and visual features are aligned to deliver the best possible experience.
“As evidence, we're seeing companies like LG push the envelope for audio quality in concert with targeted efforts to innovate 'industry firsts' for the device's video components.”
The integration of DTS technologies with mobile manufacturing companies will be incrementally beneficial for the company as it would gain significant traction in the mobile and tablet market space, writes Zacks.
With the competition heating up in the mobile and tablet space, product quality and audio-visual experience along with innovations and affordability will be the key factors in determining market share.
The manufacturing companies are expected to combine the technologies so that consumers can easily stream content from their phones and enjoy superior sound quality.
