With winter on us and expected interruptions in power, as well is the ongoing theft of Telkom cables in Gauteng, Dynamic IT Solutions (DITS) has invested in a fully redundant 25-seat DRC environment in its business premises, based in Bromhof, Randburg.
Apart from the fact that the centre can house 25 users, it also caters for a dedicated server, notebook per user with access to print, fax, e-mail, Internet, voice recording and power redundancy through UPS and generator facilities. The notebook is provided by DITS.
The telephony infrastructure is also redundant, as the breakout telephony is primarily through a VOIP system over two 2MB broad link Internet breakout connections, and with a Telkom PRI failover.
Internet browsing can be channelled via the broad link or a dedicated 10MB ADSL connection. DITS is fortunate to be positioned near Telkom infrastructure and hence has recently received the benefit of the upgraded 10MB ADSL Telkom exchange. DITS has several lines in place, all running on the 10MB ADSL platform.
Dynamic IT Solutions can provide its clients with a detailed disaster recovery plan and cater for each disaster scenario. As the centre has already been used by various clients, DITS has the expertise and experience to identify each unique disaster scenario and act accordingly.
All telephony provider liaison (Telkom) will be done via DITS, where the company will arrange forwarding of clients' lines and fax facilities, and once the disaster is over, DITS arranges the transfer back to your business premises.
The facility comes with maids, tea/coffee service and has 15 parking bays with additional parking at a nearby facility. DITS can assist with clients' disaster recovery compliance and can offer a facility that can act as any clients' primary place of business during disaster scenarios, or if clients require additional office space to run monthly campaigns or requires the use of a satellite office or call centre facility.
