Network infrastructure specialist EIS unveils its latest innovation with the introduction of the GlobalSIX Axi Data Centre Cabinet Solution, as a complement to its existing network enclosures.
The AXi cabinets are designed to reduce cooling requirements, manage, protect, and showcase equipment and cabling by providing enhanced vertical cable management, increased air-flow, iCE access and monitoring options and improved aesthetics.
An innovative cable management design arranges power and data cables through vertically mounted trays and outlet units, thereby reducing excess patch cord slack, improving airflow, and enhancing cabling administration and network reliability.

The scalable thermal management design provides a migration path from initial power and thermal requirements to future increased heat densities. For increased thermal management, a rear extraction door option eliminates hot spots and enables increased server density. As a result, data centres realise reduced real estate and operational costs with fewer required CRAC cooling units.
Optional remote monitoring and control provide real-time information on critical factors such as temperature, humidity, power, water, smoke and access.
Informative and critical alerts can be triggered via SMS, e-mail or SNMP.
