ADvTECH Skills, a division of the JSE-listed ADvTECH group and Ariel Training, a business unit of Denel division, Ariel Technologies, have announced an agreement that will provide clients with the optimal combination of instructor-led interaction and e-learning training.
"The synergies that come with this partnership stem from the complementary nature of our offerings and the similarity in the profiles of our client bases," says Cleone Bakker, sales manager at ADvTECH Skills.
Ester van Schoor, customer relations manager at Ariel Training says that combining training media is rapidly growing in SA. "The two companies` methods complement each other. Instructor-led training offers class interaction with the instructor and other students, with the opportunity to ask questions and explore technology and business solutions in-depth. This is combined with the readily accessible on-line TBT (technology-based training) for conceptual reinforcement and refresher training, it provides an all round effective training package."
The core focus of ADvTECH Skills is e-learning, delivered via electronic media such as intranet, extranet and client/server technologies. ADvTECH brings more than 1000 training product titles sourced from international training solution companies such as G-Net and NETg, winner of the prestigious IT Training Company of the Year award. Training is delivered to the desktop and can be scheduled for minimal disruption of the working day.
