SCS Distribution, the sole distributor in Southern Africa for Axis Communications, today announced that it had secured the distribution rights for EasyDisk in Southern Africa.
EasyDisk is a very small (8x2x0.5 mm) portable USB hard drive that uses flash memory that is seen by Windows software as just another drive. The drive, which can range from 16Mb to 1Gb, comes with an extension USB cable (1m), carrying-case and a driver for Windows.
"This product is an ideal way for transporting information across from one system to another, and is particularly suitable for use with notebooks," commented Roy Alves, MD of SCS Distribution.
"EasyDisk does not require external power and is significantly more flexible than either a floppy disc or a CD and can be carried in your pocket. It is available immediately."
