ECM software enhanced
pTools has enhanced its enterprise content management (ECM) software for Microsoft SharePoint by integrating it with MediaRich DAM for SharePoint, Equilibrium's digital asset management software, according to PR Inside.
Organisations can now use pTools ECM to manage image and video assets and to enhance SharePoint deployments across the enterprise.
Tom Skinner, MD of pTools, says: "'This partnership with Equilibrium builds on pTools' capabilities in image and workflow deployments, which makes video, digital imagery and document image assets work for claims, case management and general Web systems available in a way that's increasingly demanded by business."

Theresa Kollath, senior product manager for content management solutions at ASG, says: "The diverse nature of content from multiple sources and rapidly changing regulatory requirements call for a solution that can provide a scalable, reliable, and available content archive environment."
Alfresco to power Acrobat services
Adobe has implemented Alfresco Software's document sharing and collaboration capabilities as part of the file sharing features in Acrobat.com, says CMS Center.
Adobe says it chose Alfresco as its content repository for its clustered high-availability, security, and highly capable technical support.
Alfresco's open source content management software is used as the file repository in Acrobat.com, which allows users to simply share files and documents while maintaining control of those documents.
