EFI integrates Adobe
EFI has planned to integrate Adobe PDF print engine into its next-generation Fiery System Software, which will allow Fiery technology customers to be able to output PDF files with faster processing and improved consistency with Adobe desktop applications, reports Graphicrepro.
Fiery customers who deploy the Adobe PDF print engine will benefit from greater compatibility between Adobe Acrobat and Fiery Raster Image Processor capabilities.
This integration will streamline digital hybrid environments, allowing for 'late-stage' content corrections, and enable job repurposing for output on different printing systems.
Photoshop plug-in for 3D Warehouse
Adobe Systems and Google have introduced the Photoshop CS3 Extended plug-in for the Google 3D Warehouse, reports Businesswire.com.
This will enable Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended users to take further advantage of the software's powerful compositing, painting and image-editing toolset for editing 3D content.
The Google 3D Warehouse is a free Google service which allows anyone to download 3D models and content via a standard Web browser. The Photoshop CS3 Extended plug-in allows Photoshop CS3 users to participate in the 3D Warehouse community, allowing them to search, store and share 3D models and content.
