EMID was established through a management buy-out of Saambou Group`s information technology assets. EMID offers comprehensive end-to-end banking solutions based on an application solution provider (ASP) and third-party processor model. EMID caters to various banks across the region by leveraging off the heritage and domain expertise of business partners such as DSTi.
EMID has been utilising DSTi`s workflow and imaging solution AWD, since 1998 in providing a service to the Saambou Bank Home Loans Division. AWD was quickly integrated into the core account management system, and won the prestigious international GIGA Award for IT innovation in 1999. EMID recently decided to re-commit itself to the use of AWD as its preferred business process management component of its solution offering. The use of AWD by EMID`s clients allows them to process account applications effectively as well as enforcing compliance, through AWD`s automated rules engine. AWD also ensures customer service levels are met by automatically enforcing service delivery thresholds. This new contract essentially allows EMID to provide their full range of solutions to existing and prospective clients - leveraging off the global success of AWD.
EMID joins over 350 organisations in 32 countries that use the AWD product range.
