the new Lexmark 1100 Color Jetprinter in a class of its own. This easy to use 600 x 600 dpi printer builds on the success of the Lexmark 1000 model to offer unbeatable value for the home user market.
Capable of up to 3.5 ppm in black, or 1.5 ppm in colour, the Lexmark 1100 sports an exceptional level of features and functions and is the most versatile and affordable printer in its class.
The new1100 is supplied with comprehensive instruction and set-up manuals. It also features an improved paper mechanism with both input and output trays, capable of handling a wide variety of media including banner paper.
Even greater value is added through the inclusion of additional software in the box. Further to Lexmark`s exclusive agreement with Disney Interactive Europe, a Disney Print Studio is bundled with the 1100, opening up a world of fun with classic Disney ch a racters. Micrografx Windows Draw 6.0 SE is also included, giving everyone the opportunity to display his or her creative talents. For people of every age, the Lexmark 1100 opens up a new world of colour.
The colour capabilities of the Lexmark 1100 are exceptional for a model in this price range. Enhanced colour tables are incorporated to create the most accurate and vivid colours possible. In addition, full sRGB compliance ensures the closest possible ma t ch between colours on the screen and on paper. This new way of managing colour between devices is set to become the standard colour space for Windows, with the Lexmark 1100 supporting new levels of colour accuracy and brilliance.
Set-up of the 1100 is easy with the driver provided on an auto-install CD-ROM. With an industry leading driver interface, and very low user intervention, the 1100 is ready to print anything. If a problem does occur, the printer gives clear visual and aud i ble voice messages to clarify the difficulty. This neat and compact printer is both Windows `98 and year 2000 compliant.
