Enterprise Outsourcing launches 'Baan activity monitor`

By EOH
Johannesburg, 07 Aug 2000

Enterprise Outsourcing (EOH), a leading enterprise solutions provider, announced today that it launch its Baan "User Activity Monitor" in late August. Through its independent IT lifecycle model, EOH implements and supports a number of ERP solutions. Baan forms part of its offerings, and effectively caters for the manufacturing and distribution market sectors.

The recent Baan system optimisation at Earlybird Farms highlighted to EOH`s Baan development team some system administration shortfalls experienced by their users. Addressing this need, company directors Bernard van den Berg and Roedolf du Toit, who were part of the team wrote the innovative program. As Earlybird had multi-sites with remote offices, this provided a perfect opportunity to pilot the "User Activity Monitor".

Says van den Berg: "We often have clients who require further information to support their system administration functions. Activity Monitor offers more to the system administrator, including online monitoring of a user. This will give our clients heightened control over their IT resources, the potential for increased productivity through cost-effective usage of these resources and a measure of increased predictability." In addition to the "User Activity Monitor", the experienced development team wrote an archiving methodology which offers the unique feature of being able to archive over multi-sites, with information still remaining accessible for enquiries.

EOH will be officially launching this exciting application to the Baan world in late August. For further information, contact Bernard van den Berg at (011) 616-9920 or visit http://www.eoh.co.za
