EOH, a listed company on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, has acquired Idea 2 Action (I2A), a consultancy specialising in IT infrastructure and business application design and installation.
The acquisition, effective from 1 May 2004, positions EOH as the PeopleSoft supplier of choice in southern Africa. EOH will integrate I2A into J-Enterprise, its existing PeopleSoft business unit.
"We believe that I2A`s strength in the PeopleSoft space will bring immense value to our business. Their approach is also very similar to ours, which ensures there is great synergy between the teams and the transition will be seamless. The I2A client base will also benefit from the other services on offer at EOH. Offerings such as our business consulting, supply chain consulting and business process outsourcing have provided J-Enterprise with a strong competitive advantage," comments Ken Cullinan, Managing Director of J-Enterprise.
J-Enterprise`s strength in the supply chain logistics sector will be boosted by the acquisition of I2A as it brings with it a wealth of experience and a formidable client base.
