EOH first became an HP Platinum software and SVI reseller in 2006. After clinching the title of SVI Platinum partner in MEMA in 2010, EOH expanded its HP software portfolio with HP software education.
Franck Mitjans, CEE and MEMA support partner manager for HP, says there are very clear benefits to running a comprehensive training programme. “Training forms part of the bouquet of end-to-end solutions that EOH offers to their clients. It aids in HP products being utilised more efficiently as well as keeping users informed of new features and developments. Not only does it open new doors of revenue for EOH, but it serves as a differentiator in the competitive market,” explains Mitjans.
Pinnell says the training courses have been very well received and that the monthly one-week training courses have been fully booked since its inception. “Our trainers are certified HP instructors. They have in-depth knowledge and experience of HP software solutions that are designed to run, manage, optimise and secure our customers' enterprise applications and data centres.”
The more the customer is educated, the more it drives adoption. “Training and product licence sales go hand-in-hand, and that is why this is crucial to our success as both an SVI and Platinum reseller partner,” concludes Pinnell.
