Customers of Epicor`s Platinum for Windows product line can now conveniently purchase products and manage projects online through one familiar interface. Epicor Software Corporation, the largest provider of integrated enterprise and eBusiness software exclusively for midmarket companies, today announced strategic alliances with OutPurchase and OpenAir.com to offer Web-based services to Epicor`s Platinum for Windows (PFW) customers.
Traditionally, small- and mid-sized companies have been plagued by the inefficiencies and errors that arise when data from Web applications, such as online purchasing services, is re-keyed for back office applications.
By integrating Web services with Platinum for Windows and enabling a seamless flow of data between the two, businesses can avoid these inefficiencies and errors. Any authorized employee or contractor can now have instant access to these functions any time from anywhere.
