Epicor helps Ballantyne see the big picture

Epicor Software Corp, a leading provider of integrated enterprise and eBusiness software exclusively for midmarket companies, today announced that Ballantyne of Omaha has selected Vantage, Epicor`s eManufacturing solution, to automate all of its business processes.

Ballantyne of Omaha, Inc. is an aggressive, growth-oriented company that is comprised of a team of leading firms in the entertainment equipment industry including Strong Spotlights, Simplex and Century Projectors, Xenotech and Sky-Tracker. With over $86 million in sales for 1999 this dynamic company faced the challenge of processes to improve efficiency. It`s goal was to eliminate repetitive, tedious tasks and increase job satisfaction among its employees. Ballantyne standardized on Epicor to reduce paperwork, share knowledge, and gain a more holistic view of company operations.

By deploying Vantage, Ballantyne hopes to significantly reduce its 6-8 week delivery cycle significantly. This in turn will increase customer satisfaction, while reducing costs for the company. Ballantyne expects to complete the Vantage implementation in February 2001.
