EPM Live rethinks services model

EPM Live, an enterprise SharePoint Project and Work Management solution, is offering a way for managers to accelerate their EPM deployment, while reducing the and cost of a normal EPM implementation, says PR Newswire.

Program managers and business professionals can purchase a complete Microsoft Office EPM solution from EPM Live and receive a free preconfigured EPM environment, deployment, and training services.

The economy is shaping the way businesses make software investments and how they deploy new solutions. In light of the economic climate, EPM Live is rethinking its services model to be more agile and meet the financial constraints of businesses worldwide.

WolfNet implements AtTask

WolfNet Technologies, an Internet technology and consulting firm that specialises in Web-applications for real estate companies in North America, has implemented the AtTask project and portfolio management (PPM) solution, states Techwhack.

It employed the solution to increase productivity and reduce costs by effectively managing resources and implementing project management best practices.

“AtTask allowed us to successfully implement new project management best practices that make us more efficient and provide greater accountability,” say Jennie Decker and Liz Larsen, the WolfNet project managers responsible for implementing the PPM solution.

ADS unveils Scrum'd

Atlantic Dominion Solutions (ADS), a developer of custom Web applications, has unveiled Scrum'd, an application that provides simple project management for agile teams that allows them to focus on results rather than the process of achieving them, reports PRWeb.

Scrum'd joins the company's other business applications, Expens'd and Prioritiz'd, as part of the fully integrated ADS AppSuite.

"Our goal at ADS," said CEO Robert Dempsey, "is to give everyone the fundamental tools they need to run their businesses. What sets our applications apart is that they're completely integrated - they can talk to each other and exchange information."
