ePortal passes compatibility test
Business software integration solutions company eBridge Software's Web-based document management system - ePortal - has passed testing for compatibility with Apple's iPhone and the BlackBerry Storm and Bold mobile devices, reports 1888 Press Release.
Having the ePortal as a Web-based software as a service (SaaS) solution enables eBridge to ensure a client can use the latest mobile technology to access mission-critical business documents.
“Extending the reach of integration as a service to the SME market is a critical component moving forward,” explains Colin Brown, CEO of eBridge. “This enhancement of mobile functionality will allow our clients to leverage the SaaS model well beyond the capabilities of the traditional applications on the market today.”
Dictronics gets nod
Dictronics has been designated as a "small and medium enterprise expert" by Avaya, according to PR-Canada.
To achieve the ranking of SME expert, authorised resellers that are part of Avaya's BusinessPartner programme must ensure their account executives and systems engineers demonstrate proficiency in core areas, including customer support, technology knowledge and expertise, sales revenue and marketing support.
The programme is the first such specialised ranking established by Avaya for North America certified resellers in its BusinessPartner programme that serve the SME market.
Buffalo raises SME storage bar
Buffalo Technology, a provider of wired and wireless networking, storage and memory solutions, has unveiled the TeraStation Duo and the TeraStation III, its newest, most feature-rich SME network storage solutions, CIOL reports.
The high performance, eco-friendly and feature-enriched TeraStation Duo and TeraStation III allow users to transfer digital content at faster rates to quickly secure and back up larger files on multiple servers.
Both devices offer Buffalo's Web Access feature for remote access to data stored on the devices via a Web browser from anywhere in the world. For added reliability, the TeraStations include two Ethernet ports and internal flash boot.
