Epson SA has signed on electronics refurbishing and e-waste disposal company, Sylvara Technologies, as an accredited service provider (ASP) and express centre.
According to Epson, Sylvara will oversee post sales warranty repairs for all Epson products, offering on-site repair and replacement services.
The company says Epson-trained specialists will be available at Sylvara to ensure customers get high-quality service.
It adds that Sylvara will be able to do on-site exchanges and repairs, with access to Epson's entire range of business products, enabling it to develop customised warranties and services.
Albert Fayard, GM of Epson SA, says: “Sylvara Technologies has an impressive country-wide footprint, covering Johannesburg, Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal, Port Elizabeth and the Free State, which is a crucial requirement when we look for service partners.
“Coupled with the organisation's efficient internal tracking systems, its proprietary IT asset management software and stringent quality-control practices, Sylvara Technologies will undoubtedly add a lot of value to Epson's brand by ensuring that our customers have access to an accredited service, repair and refurbishment partner,” he concludes.
