Epson, the worldwide leader in imaging products, has been presented with two of Europe's most important photo and imaging technology tributes at the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Awards 2012. The Epson products recognised by TIPA were the Epson EH-TW9000W, named as the 'Best Photo Projector', and the Epson Stylus Photo 1500W, which won 'Best Expert Photo Printer'. Epson has now received a total of 31 awards from TIPA since 1997 for technologies and imaging products, including inkjet printers, inks, scanners and projectors.
Mary McNulty, Head of PR and Communications at Epson Europe, says: "We are honoured to be presented with two TIPA awards this year. At Epson, we continually look for new solutions and ways to enhance our product range. This recognition is testament to that commitment, and fuels our determination to continue providing our customers with outstanding digital imaging products."
With its 21-year history, and with member magazines from nine European countries, plus Australia, Canada, China, USA and South Africa, TIPA is one of the largest and most influential photographic and imaging press associations globally.
Every year, the TIPA editors vote for the best products introduced to the market during the previous 12 months. They update the categories according to the market's technological trends, taking into account innovation, cutting-edge technology, design, ease-of-use and the price to performance ratio of the products.
