EPSON`s vision of providing a print solution for every requirement and environment is shown with the launch of the LQ-630 dot matrix printer. EPSON still develops dot matrix printers according to the needs of the customer, and in response to the requirement for a small and reliable printer for counter applications, the LQ-630 was developed.
The LQ-630 is the ideal printer for surroundings with little space. The flatbed design allows the printing of small cut sheet paper, which is loaded and ejected from the front. With the high reliability rating of 12 million lines Mean Print Volume Between Failure (MVBF) the LQ-630 is a reliable and robust printer, built to last.
Says Hans Dummer, general manager of EPSON SA: "Counter applications are where a dot matrix can provide the winning print solution - for retail stores, banks and ticket shops they are ideal. Industrial customers also find that this technology can be used for labelling and protocol printing."
The LQ-630 is very affordable, and with very low cost-per-page running costs this a very good solution where print costs need to be kept low.
