Epson has introduced the brightest product in its range of commercial projectors. The EB-Z10000/NL has been created to meet the needs of large venues, such as government and education establishments, auditoriums, museums and conference and exhibition halls, and with a brightness of up to 10 000 lumens, it delivers clear and vivid images at resolutions XGA with ease.

The EB-Z10000/NL is packed with new features, including Edge Blending. This allows users to stack up to four projectors horizontally and two vertically, dramatically increasing the area onto which an image can be projected to 500 inches. Supported by Epson's Super Resolution feature, which delivers a smooth, high-quality image every time, and Epson's Point and Arc Correction for easy image calibration, this product's specification introduces projection functionality into areas where it could not previously be enjoyed.

Epson's downloadable iOS app offers seamless WiFi connectivity to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, and makes the projector compatible with most environments. The projectors are compatible with existing optional Epson lenses too.

"The EB-Z10000/NL is available in black and white units," says Kelvin Reynolds, general manager for Epson South Africa. "The black units suit the demanding rental market such as e-cinemas, concert or conference venues. The white unites are designed for education establishments, auditoriums and museums or exhibition halls."

The projector also includes Epson's 3LCD technology, which ensures high-quality images with equally high white and colour light output, for vivid, natural colours and deep blacks, even in daylight.

The EB-Z10000/NL includes an SDI port, which allows venues to transmit HD broadcast signals such as TV signals for the first time.
