Advanced Consumables Technology (Pty) Ltd (ACT) is pleased to announce additional features to Epson`s ink cartridges. Consumers can now take advantage of Intellidge (Intelligent Cartridges) cartridges that offer improved quality, flexibility and reliability.
As a recognised consumables distributor for Epson, ACT aims to enrich the market with the new Intellidge cartridge and highlight the product`s new benefits, such as extended lightfastness.
Lightfastness is affected by various factors including light, humidity, temperature and atmospheric pollutants. Through improved ink formulation, users can expect extended lightfastness. In addition, the new beefed up cartridges can be removed or replaced even before they are completely empty.
"In other words, it is possible to install a new cartridge before a long print job and replace the original when the task is completed. Misfiring is prevented because the system makes it impossible to accidentally replace the cartridge with an empty one. Ink levels are accurately measured and through the status monitor, indicate how many pages are left based on previous usage," says Laetitia van den Berg, Epson product manager at ACT.
The new Intellidge cartridges are available as a single or double pack black cartridges and five-colour single cartridges.
"We view it as essential to provide a one-stop service of a broad range of consumable products in the Epson range in conjunction with additional vendors products. These latest developments fall in line with our strategy to have the correct products in stock at the right price. In addition to this, we will identify opportunities in the market for the Epson product and help our partners take advantage through our business partner programme and the ACT Academy," says Van den Berg.
