Absolutely synergistic with its solutions profile, Palo Alto Networks' next-generation firewall application has become Exponant's newest security solutions offering. The company is now a reseller of Palo Alto Networks' sub-Saharan Africa distributor, Bitrate.
Explains head of Exponant's information security division, executive manager, Wolfgang Selzer: “Bitrate's Palo Alto Networks' applications complements our existing detection and monitoring approach to security.”
Under the terms of the reseller agreement, Exponant will work with Bitrate to identify new market opportunities for its solutions within the sub-Saharan region and will provide pre- and post-sales support and protection to carriers, managed service providers and enterprises.
Continues Selzer: “This is a very strategic relationship as we are also distributors of Splunk> software solutions. Splunk> works very closely with Palo Alto Networks. Together, they provide a complementary detection and monitoring approach to security that also opens up the corporate space for better application and use of social media and networks.”
The Internet and online applications have increased the risk to corporate networks. Palo Alto Networks' application-aware firewall provides the security and control to mitigate risk, but more importantly, protects data from being hacked, while also preventing sensitive information from leaking to the public.
