Facebook integrated with Callmedia
Callmedia has released an application to enable Facebook integration with the contact centre, reports Callcentre helper.
The application, which provides a 'Call Me' button on a company's Facebook page, is seamlessly integrated to the Callmedia software, enabling an immediate and relevant response to existing or prospective customers who click on the button.
Facebook and other social networking sites let companies create online consumer communities very quickly, allowing for brand promotion and increased loyalty.
CRM solution equipped with Skype
Open source customer relationship management (CRM) provider, SugarCRM, just received some new software and call centre abilities that'll give them an increased push on the competition, according to TMCnet.
MyCRM, an open source and software-as-a-service systems integrator, released version 5.0 of MyCRM's Call Manager for Skype, specifically designed for SugarCRM's open source CRM application.
Users can maintain their call centres with SugarCRM's products, and video conference them in as well.
Ebix buys E-Z Data
Ebix bought on-demand CRM software firm E-Z Data in a $50.4 million deal, states Atlanta Business Chronicle.
E-Z Data software and technology is used by insurance companies, general agents, banks, investment dealers, agents and financial advisors.
“This is one of our most strategic acquisitions since this will provide us access to a majority of the life and annuity brokers' desktop in the US,” says Robin Raina, chairman, president and CEO of Ebix.
